Embrace the wilderness at Garibaldi Provincial Park, a pristine alpine park that features a jagged glacier-capped mountain vista, a scenic lake, and a wide array of plant and animal life. Douglas firs, western red cedar, and western hemlock forests dot the grounds. Go for a leisurely trek through the canopied park, paying special attention to the glacial mountain vantage point, or the lush greenery surrounding Garibaldi Lake. These treks can be quite challenging, particularly in the winter months, so approach with caution if fitness or walking ability are a concern. • Great hike and views! The last lake has the best views and fairly unadulterated. I was surprised that many hikers started around 2 pm and didn’t feel they were camping either. For a moderate hikers...

  • This park is worth the visit. The views from Panorama Ridge and Black Tusk are unrivaled in the area. You get Lake Louise views and colour with half the tourists and less development.

  • This is a very big park so it's hard to give just one review. It is probably the crown jewel of the bc park system and on top of that it is very close to Vancouver. There are many glaciers, lakes, peaks, etc that are more beautiful than the last. The downside is that it can get quite busy in some places and this is maybe quite hard on the wildlife and environment. I'd recommend people enjoy but try extra hard to leave no trace.
  • We fly over the spectacular mountains, from the bird's eye you can zoom out and see this area and its beauty. I been on the Garibaldi lake campsite during spring, very nice people on the trail, easy hike, well maintained. I would carry two flashlights, a GPS with the local topographic maps, a compass, and a cellphone with a backup battery. The weather can change within hours and the nights are very cold up there.
  • It is awesome. Just look at the way this place looks. You seriously enjoy your stay here. This is all you can do to yourself. Getting to enjoy all the pleasures of the world. It was absolutely nice being here. Thank you Garibaldi. We will definitely pay you a visit again.
  • One of my favourite spots! It's a grueling hike with lots of switchbacks and it can take it's toll on the ankles on the way down - but the view is so worth it. Spectacular sights and just so gorgeous. If you go in the summer be sure to jump in! So refreshing and it washes off the hike up so that you're ready for the way back down. It's like neverland up there!
  • A wonderful location for hiking up to a beautiful lake. The trails are good, and the lake looks like it is from a magazine. Definitely a good easy hike if you are in the area. The wildlife there is accustomed to people, and may approach you if you have food, so don't feed them, but feel free to allow a bird to land on your hand. The whole place is a surreal experience. I am not certain how it will be in the winter, as it may be too cold, but in the summer it is beyond incredible.
