  • A must see for historians or those looking for a peek into "what was". Friendly face at the door, good price for the tour...something to look at in each corner of this magnificent home.  more »

  • Very worthwhile historical tourist attraction - with a surprisingly large floor space of meticulously maintained original and replicated furnishings. If you like history and museums, you'll find yourself intrigued by the originality and intricate detail put into the historically accurate renovations. The staff is VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of the estate, from design and typical use of the many areas of the house for entertaining to architectural features. None of my questions (often relating to very specific aspects) were left unanswered. This is a hidden gem that took me by surprise, as I expected that there would be far less to experience considering only hearing about it in 2016.
  • So amazing. Love every bit of the place.
  • Rich in history, beautifully restored Victorian mansion. Love the fact the tour is self guided but the staff can pretty much answer any questions you have.
  • Love taking my daughter there to show her the way life was year's ago.
  • Super fun, great staff! If you haven't been go, go now!
