  • Had lunch at the winery. Excellent! Food was great. Wine was superb. Service par excellence. The restaurant decor was gorgeous. This is a must stop on your Niagara Peninsula wine tour.  more »
  • Part of a wine tasting tour. Wine was very nice with an amazing shrimp slider. Architecture is stunning in the restaurant, boutique and wine bar. Very interesting wine cooler in the centre of the bar.  more »
  • Beautiful winery on the Beamsville Bench, gorgeous views. We like to go there on a Saturday afternoon, have a glass of wine and a couple of selections from the bar menu. Sadly they have changed and th...  more »

  • Our first visit to Redstone for lunch. Dining area was full so the greeting lady politely asked us if we would like to sit and eat at the bar. The two pleasant gentlemen working the bar took our food order. My wife ordered a pizza and I ordered their burger. Great quality, great tasting! Also was a nice touch by the bartenders to offer us some wine and beer samples from their line-up to help us choose. Two glasses of wine and a beer later and bill came out to a reasonable $69. Great setting, great food, great service, great first experience!
  • We stopped here as a small group for lunch on a weekend. The staff were very pleasant and the patio was beautiful. There was some confusion over what was available on the lunch menu. Our server was able to to help clear this up for us.
  • Excellent views paired with smooth and tasteful wines and fabulous food. We really enjoyed this venue for lunch and particularly loved the meat pizza and calamari. The calamari was probably one of the best I've ever had with a very nice sauce and seasoning. Add a couple glasses of red wine and you're in heaven. My wife had the escargot and it wasn't really as flavourful as she would have hoped. She merely mentioned this offhand when they enquired as to why she didn't eat more than a quarter of it and that was it. They apologized and removed it from our bill. Fantastic service experience. You can tell they care. We will most certainly be back!
  • The winery and restaurant is beautiful, the wines above average, service good however the food is overpriced and the result this time round left much to be desired. This was our third visit to this restaurant, the previous two being excellent to good. We were joined by friends from Toronto but were too embarrassed to ask what they thought of their meal. My wife's dish (the duck was overcooked and improperly cut) after a first bite, was returned untouched. The fact was not lost on the kitchen or the waitress who reversed the charge from our bill. Needless to say my wife left the restaurant without having had dinner. My beef dish which was to be prepared rare arrived medium rare and the accompanying vegetables were so dried out that it left the impression that they were left under a salamander or a heat lamp. For a restaurant that is competing at this level there is no excuse for any dish leaving the kitchen without first being personally cleared by the chef. Either the line is not performing at the expected level or the chef is letting things slide by as passable. The fact that the restaurant is busy is no excuse. It will be a while before we give Redstone another try.
  • The food was realy small and it cost for 2 people $500.00. When I got home I ate a pizza I was so hungry.
