  • The drive from Banff to the Icefields was breathtaking--a must see! The Icefields themselves were interesting. Overall, the site seemed a bit too over commercialized.
  • Really liked this track! All in moderation: not too long and not too short; There is a rise, but feasible even for children and aged people. The route of the extremely varied-at different levels are opened completely different species! First go through the undergrowth and watch the spectacle of mountain flowers and plants. Then go parallel to the other great ridges. A little more-and here you already stand across from the melting glacier. Finally, the highlight of the farthest point of the track is a charming Green Lake in the Valley. The camera has to get every few hundred metres. The only point on which we must remember-this surprises the weather. If the bottom of the warm and sunny, it doesn't mean that you are not at the top of the podkaraulit shower or snow storm. This is exactly what happened to us, even though we were there in July! So do not be lazy to bring jackets and raincoats. Highly recommend to allocate three hours to slowly and happily pass this wonderful route.

  • Better view than Columbia glacier with a little bit hike. Worth the effort. Cold and windy up there even in July.
