Witness a raging torrent of white water at Bow Falls. Listen to the hypnotic roar as the water tumbles down the dramatic cascade. Though not particularly high, the falls are wide, and the power on display is undeniable. If you can handle some stairs, the trail continues beyond the falls and is worth exploring for a peaceful stroll where you might spot some wildlife. Nicely accessible from a nearby carpark, the falls offer something for everyone to enjoy. Bow Falls reviews
Great scenery and a little cooler at that by the river. I say this is a must see by all visitors. Do it. more »
Went at 9 am with grandchildren. Lots of free parking at this time. Love the little trail beside the falls. Don’t forget bug spray. more »
When we traveled, in late September. You have the leaves on the trees turning, the air is crisp. It is the matting season for the Elk. The falls them selves are nice, but there are many more... more »
LOOKS SO COOL
Love going to bow falls. It’s a definite visit whenever we go to the mountains. A beautiful scenic spot for pictures. The water is just beautiful changing colours of blue green turquoise! Kids can enjoy the water - throwing rocks and cloud watching or just to enjoy the sounds of nature. Can get a little too busy sometimes but the crowd moves quick. Take a jacket!
This is a must do when you come to Banff, specially in winter. So cool!
Its beautiful..great place to click pictures for lifetime memories...loved the hike, wildlife, and still cherish the moments...hope you enjoy as much as we did
This is an amazing place. Very scenic. Popular among tourist. I wish we came summer time so we can paddle the river too. Highly recommended to visit for an afternoon stroll.
