  • Love visiting Hy Hope farms. We used to go all the time when our son was young but still make it here a few times a year. Wonderful little shop with bakery and fresh veggies.  more »

  • We visiting on Thanksgiving weekend and apparently if you want tarts, you were supposed to pre-order them. We managed to get a blueberry pie (that was the only pie available/left). The crust was nice, but the filling wasn't great. The staff at the hot dog stand were friendly. Some of the staff inside weren't entirely friendly. I needed some help with the selection of honey, but one of the ladies was reluctant to help - she just pointed me in the general direction of the honey. It wasn't busy or anything - maybe 3 people in the storefront with 6 employees.
  • Great place to visit in the fall. They have fresh Ontario grown apples. And many baked goods as well. Butter tarts are my fave!!
  • The best butter-tarts in all of Ontario! This is a MUST-STOP every time I travel to Durham Region. #addicted
  • Excellent bread and pies. Fresh fruit and veg too.
  • Nice and easy to get to now the 407 extension is open , however every Friday morning they are at the farmers market at the Oshawa mall with freshly baked goods and fresh produce with a great selection. If you play golf go to the farm have a round and pick up some wholesome food at the end!!
