  • The educational vocation alone is worth that attention. Animals of the Center are treated very well and the guides are doing outstanding work. Promote visits early morning or late in the day, when the animals are most active and when they feed.

  • Very nice place, warm and visit renewed each time! You get tired walk in the paths of the shelters! To visit family, alone, with friends anyway, the important thing is not to be ca!

  • It is very nice to see that there is a place like that, and not just a zoo. Te Refuge is really nice to visit as you can get a feel for nature and the guide has been really great.

  • Very nice place for lovers of animals. The site is very well laid out, provide a good 2 hours to tour. There is a multitude of animals of our regions, in a trail in the heart of the forest. Animals can vary from one period to another because it is first and foremost a temporary shelter!

  • All the money raised at the shop and the visit is used to take care of the animals. I liked that the priority is the well-being of the animals and not the pleasure of visitors. The idea is to return them to the wild life as quickly as possible, makes it very different from zoos. The staff is very knowledgeable and to able to answer our questions.
