Landmark · Tourist Spot
Designated as a Bi-Centennial International Peace Garden. Along the pathway are many manicured annual flower beds, a ships anchor, cannons, and a light house beacon. • This was a beautifully well kept park. I especially enjoyed the area where there were multiple hostas labeled in a small garden. If you are a landscaper or horticulturist like myself, you would appreciate this teaching garden. 🧢👍
  • Spent the afternoon in the Downtown area of Amherstburg. Quite beautiful along the Riverwalk. A very well kept park with lots of interesting things to see along the way. This area is right beside the Old part of the Town. Yes, there's plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area.☺👍👍👍
  • Beautiful, picturesque, quaint and serene. Not crowded usually but depends on the day and time. Lots of restaurants accessible from it. Seating places under shade are limited though, which is a bit of a drawback if someone wants to sit in shade! But, definitely worth a visit and repeat visits
