  • Very friendly artists and we got a nice history at the area. Beautiful in late spring
  • A great place to spend an afternoon. A nice little caffe. Very scenic and has a little museum of how the mill used to be.
  • We had our wedding planned for 6 months in advance to be ready for our big day, The events coordinator, was so unorganised,( she must be new) because she certainly is not very professional when it comes to customer service or satisfaction, as well as setting up wedding venues at there establishment. Not only did she state in her email correspondence that all we had to do is give a number to hold the date for first refusal, she never followed up as she said she would on a monthly basis, she gave the date away before consulting us, and was very rude when it came to dealing with the situation she created, kindly telling us is was our fault for trusting her. I would look else where when booking a wedding venue, unless you want to be extremely disappointed by dealing with this place.
  • Nice and inspirering place. Lovely to actually get to meet the artists and hear them tell about their work.
  • We stumbled on Alton Mill accidentally and had a really tasty lunch in the cafe, and browsed around the artists studios. We found it very interesting and was surprised it was not busy. I think it is a great way to spend a couple of hours and it appears to be an undiscovered gem.
