  • We are not particularly experience walkers. We found this trail a really good one to do. It was a good distance with nice things to see.
  • This is not a difficult trail, about 2.1 km. long, but there are a few spots requiring a bit of maneuvering around tree roots and such. We had our dog with us, and he loved it. This trail takes you do...  more »
  • The walk is not easy for anyone with walking difficulties but it is a pleasure with so much wildlife to see and when you reach the furthest most point the rapids are pretty good as well.

  • Wonderful Trail One of the most picturesque spots in the Algonquin Provincial Park to take pictures at route marker 7 to 9.
  • Short hike following the river. Use deet or prepare to feed the mosquitos!
  • Quick trail, nice view at the (small) Rapids. Be prepared and wear bug spray!
  • A nice short hike, some quaint but endearing rapids
  • Nice short walk. The title of the trail is a little misleading. There were in fact no rapids on our walk. We did take a short walk by a creek with rocks in it, but was hardly close to being rapids. The rest of the trail was all in the forrest. Nothing too exciting for me.
