  • If you want a nice look out in a short amount of time, this is a good trail. The trail itself was not really outstanding (compared to the other trails in Algonquin). The trail is short, but steep as y...  more »
  • Went on lookout trail mid-October. The walk took us about 30ish minutes to get to the lookout (depending on how fast you are walking). I felt like it was the perfect time of year to do this trail beca...  more »
  • I have to agree with so many who told me that the Lookout Trail had the best view of Algonquin Park. It was INCREDIBLE!!! Now, that being said, it is alot of uphill walking. I don't mean sheer rock fa...  more »

  • What an awesome spot! It's an easy hike to get up to one of the best views of the park. There's a couple of benches, and a few fairly flat open little areas if you want to sit and have a picnic. Plus there's the boulder near the beginning of the trail that everyone loves to climb. :)
  • A breathtaking view and lovely short hike towards the top. This trail is very easy to reach and very easy to traverse. You can bring your kids and elderly fold here. It is not wheelchair accessible per se as the trails are a bit rocky but if you are able to walk just fine then you can reach the time with ease. The main reason I love this spot is for the Fall and Spring seasons. The sprouting of leaves in the Spring and the explosive color changes in the Fall amaze me every time. This is also a great spot to launch a drone for some great aerial footage. I implore EVERYONE to come to the Lookout trail for a great view!
  • Amazing view. Beware of steep slopes you have to walk. Not recommended for older people with walking problems
  • The trail was moderately difficult. Not super easy, but not too hard either. There was some rocky up hill climbing though. The view at the lookout was spectacular. Definitly one of my favourite trails in Alogonquin. Make sure to have enough water, and good hiking boots. Overall, I would most definitely recommend this trail!
  • A pretty comfortable trail. Hard to find parking especially during fall season. Worth the wait and walk.
