  • We went when the snow was still melting and it had rained a few days back. Decided to do the trail backwards, didn't keep our feet any dry. The stairs are meant to go down on, not up. If you're up for...  more »
  • We went for a great hike here. There is lots to see on this all ages beautiful trail. It is not a difficult trail, so I recommend it.  more »

  • My favourite of the trails with a view! I have been coming for years, sometimes lucking out to see the leaves in full colour other times when it's all green; just breathtaking! There is also a great walk along the lake but before you get to it have to traverse a part between rock that's always muddy so be warned. You also need to be reasonably fit to do this one as it's 5Km with some climbing, but if you are looking for a faster route to the top I have noticed some do the trail in reverse
  • Stunning views from the lookout. Nice place to have a snack... The trail is not as difficult as described in Algonquin newsletter. There is no washroom though, and it is difficult to hide somewhere for a pit stop. Keep this in mind before you start hiking. Washroom facilities are on nearby campground.
  • Great place for all ages. Takes 2-3 hours for active persons. Great day activity for the family. Bring snacks and water. Lots of different stops and look outs. Absolutely beautiful. We went the second week of October and it couldn't have been better
  • Super awesome view of Rock lake. Very well maintained and pretty easy trail. Great for the whole family. Recommend in fall
  • Its about an hour hike to the lookout point, it was magical especially if you visit the place in Fall season. A must visit place.
