  • This is a great trail. We seen a beaver up close and a loon on our hike. The trail is not too difficult and has a lot to see. Highly recommend if you are close to the East Gate Entrance.

  • This is a great walk in the forest and beside a large pond (it more like a lake to be honest) It has a lot of elevation gains and losses so DO NOT BRING A STROLLER as this is not a rollable trail it is hiking ONLY (Ask me how I know). Smaller kids (5 and under) could have issues walking the trail as its rocky and lots of roots to trip, there is a lot of climbing up and down large stairs.
  • Lovely trail for the whole family. Although beavers are present in the area, we haven’t seen any beavers unfortunately. Enjoyed seeing the dams and lodges though. The trail is quite hilly with a small boardwalk section.
  • Nice short moderate trail for the family. Naturalists on the trail can tell you about how Beavers have molded the area. Beautiful views from the Lookout.
  • It is a nice trail to do, for my 5yo was a little challenging but we did it in 50 min with some stops
  • Beautiful hike for beginners or with small children. Very informative. Just make sure to bathe in repellent before the hike
