  • Beautiful-in my opinion-half day excursion from Phnom Penh. I reached, with a choice "eroica" (because of the distance of about 40 km), tuk-tuk. Even the trip itself (because, as the medium, it's a journey of about 3.5 hours round trip!) is interesting: with the slowness of the medium you can enjoy the landscape and the environment, although it is good to wear a scarf or handkerchief to not breathe too much dust or smog. Beautiful approach in Udong, which appears on the left from the Plains and of which we see, from afar, the spires of the stupa. Once in place, the Council getting the main stupa and continue on the ridge line of the hills to visit various temples and stupas. Inside a temple, nondescript from the outside, there is a gigantic statue (10 mt. or more) of the Buddha must see. The view of the underlying and pagodas on the surrounding plain is really nice. The cost (travel + layover) of tuk-tuks from 12.30 to 18.30 was USD 30 (Treaty proposed by 45), not a little, but still acceptable, given that it was worth it.

  • Im sorry to tell all the people that wrote bad things about this tour that you are completely wrong. Why did you wanted to come to Cambodia in the first place??? We went by Tuk Tuk all the way to Udon...  more »

  • Such a beautiful place. It is so peaceful and quiet with gorgeous gardens. We were blessed by the Buddhist priest with lotus blossoms. A wonderful ceremony.
  • Climbing the mountain to see the beautiful landscape, pray to Buddha, breath of the fresh air. Yeah, it's Oudong, the best place to escape from the stressful city.
  • Old Cambodia. Landscaping is kept up fabulously in most places. Quiet, friendly, peaceful.
  • Climbed the hill further up road from the main entrance at end of a parking lot/road. Made it much much easier. Fewer steps and easier grade. Then we walked along the hill, saw all the pagodas and stupas, then walked down the 500+ stairs into the main entrance. Ate some of the rice and coconut snack food prepared on the spot by local vendors who are located along the road every weekend. We had an English-speaking Cambodian guide select the snacks for us. Wonderful experience.
  • 40km which take more than 1hr hectic drive from Phnom Penh, which ended with further 20min walk up to the hill. Hill view nice, probably one of closest hill from Phnom Penh. Nothing to amaze
