When we go to kompongsom, don't forget to go to phsar leu. There are many seafoods. You can enjoy your meal at there.
When u get here, u should get some fresh seafoods with good price, but the prices will be much increased on holidays. - NOTE: u must careful with ur wallet!
A 30-minute long shopping fresh crabs, fishes, shrimps, squids...! Leave them at the cook for your favourite dishes, drive back to your spot at the beach, 30 mins later they are delivered and the party starts!! Dancing mouth!!
Though you might go here to pick up some necessities I found it to be distinctly unpleasant. Beggars are located at all entrances and block your path, stalls are filled with cheap purses, suitcases, and T-shirts. The food area smelled unpleasant, like raw fish. They were also selling roasted crickets, 'not my cup of tea, sorry.
Many kind of sea food can be found here.
