  • I strongly recommend that tourists take time to visit to Beng Mealea and Roluos Group, and Benteay Srei. The quiet Ta Nei is also worth your time.  more »
  • It’s hot, it’s busy, it’s a hike, but worth it all. Amazing experience. You’ll need 2 hours and a good set of knees to see it all, bring water and a hat.  more »
  • Small and less famous, this temple is truly a gem. Attention to every detail and well conserbato, is to be enjoyed to the full.

  • The biggest ancient temple complex in the world, such incredible architecture build around 12 centuries ago! Also know as City of Temples in Khmer, it's a very large area to visit, the best way if you like adventures it's to rent a bike, you will be able to cover over 15-20km in a day and your own peace and enjoy this mystique place. Come early in the morning to watch the amazing sunset!
  • To be perfectly honest, if you go to Cambodia and not visit this place, you are literally wasting your own money. This is one of the few places that is worth visiting in Cambodia. It signifies their history and religion. It is quite big although most of it is almost he same. You can amaze at the delicate handicraft of ancient sculptures when you look at their walls and statues. For me, I enjoyed looking at the walls more than the statues. At times, there are wired smells though and I didn’t really enjoy that smell. The pond is also quite muddy and not the best I have seen. But allow me to repeat, if you go to Cambodia, this place is a must-see.
  • This was just a magical experience, worth getting up before sunrise walking towards the temple with torches in the dark, to get the beautiful silhouettes of the temples as the sunrises. Fantastic place to explore. Would recommend hiring a guide as very informative. Worth every moment being there.
  • Stunning. Beautiful photos of facade reflected in the pond to the left before the souvenir stalls. Iconic stone steps up the tower now replaced by wooden ones. Still steep but sturdy hand rail got my metal knees up and down safely.
  • A must see if travelling in Cambodia. Angkor watt it's self is huge and you could spend a whole day there alone if you wish to see all the temples within the area you could fill in three days easily . Weather is generally hot and humid so plenty of water is a good idea . Photographers will love this place . This is my third visit and a lot of work is being done to restore a lot of temples' the only thing that detracts a little now from my first visit 15 years ago is the amount of tourists great for the country's economy but takes away a lot of the atmosphere . It also concerns me a little what damage will ultimately be done by the pure volume of tourists now visiting . Over all a great place and you will enjoy and marvel at it . Highly recommended.
