  • The overwhelmed visited the trenches on a five-day tour, but the most popular top among world heritage site Angkor Wat ruins, see, and experience the greatness and popularity could look. However, consider this a high-flying Khmer was secretly buried along with this magnificent Angkor Wat ruins in the jungle and have been struck and only Angkor Wat a very strange.

  • It's a huge archaeological site, in fact in this area and several locations have been built more capitals of the Khmer from the 9th to the 14th century. Then these towns with their splendid temples were overwhelmed and covered by the intricate forest vegetation, lying on an area of over 400 square Km. The area, though never completely abandoned (in any temple there have always been some monks), was rediscovered by the French in the second half of the 800, now is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The site opens at 5.30 am and closes at 17.30: access to some temples, still worshipped, is only allowed if you are properly dressed (knees and shoulders must be covered) and most isolated areas are not to turn away from the paths because there are still unexploded landmines. You can do a multiple-day passes, we made weekly (because three days there were enough). To see all the main sights it takes 4 days, we've added two more to see even the most North (Preah Vinhear) and we hired a guide who spoke Italian to ourselves (Ratha Sim), were definitely money well spent!

  • A comment summarizing all of the visits... to simply say that these temples are simply gorgeous... and are necessarily part of the things to do in his life :-)
