Tonle Sap Lake, Siem Reap

1.0
#3 of 6 in Nature in Siem Reap Province
Water Body Nature / Park
Discover the vast seasonally inundated Tonle Sap Lake, which remains one of country's most important sources of food. Situated in the Cambodian floodplain--a geological depression--the lake gets replenished by the Mekong River and shelters an abundance of natural and agricultural habitats. Rent a boat ride to travel across the lake and experience the beauty of floating villages and natural havens. Many tour operators try to exploit tourists by "demanding money to feed the hungry," but you can easily avoid this by purchasing food yourself and donating it to the poor directly. • Thought I'd seen on TV, but the reality is a little bit feels quite different. Not recommend first of all very keen. Flock Lake odor and boarded the ship and, because of the dry season. Smelly if you run out, then, is not. Come against vessels near the surface of the Lake with a boat, so pretty much shaking, water splashing could be. Driver - of but who cannot withstand the shock with the mind. It ran for a while, points - and the rest in attached (floating) like cafes and souvenir shops. Placed using culture nets crocodiles further lower. The fence too decrepit to look so much weight them. Please be careful not with children. Alligator people is like being handbags soon to be. Broken toilet seats even where prima facie is a toilet is pretty messed up (see), also. The respondent is divided into male and female. I think Ta - Terminal Board located in the toilet, so there it's much safer. In a souvenir shop and Ska - purchased at $ 4. Personal tour-of the Guide's was not dangerous and disturbing because got together.

  • The same Lake ok at me seriously impressed floating village. You can use the boat that departs the village and ends at the crocodile farm (it's already nothing interesting). But the image of the same village, shocked and fascinated. Boat houses, churches, school. No Bank of the graves. It is worth
