Art Gallery Museum
Wander around Theam's House, a hub for artists where you'll see colorful contemporary Khmer artworks and witness apprentices in action as you explore the workshops. Established by Cambodian artist and designer Theam, the exhibition space and studio operates to train apprentices and reinvigorate the country's creative sector, utilizing age-old techniques and mutating them into new art forms. The studio itself serves as a work of art, where you can explore an oasis of creativity in the city and learn about the skillful methods employed by the artists themselves. The adjoining shop sells a variety of works to match all budgets, many of which make ideal souvenirs or gifts. • Artists residence, studio, workshop, gallery, shop, museum... Cambodian artist Lim Muy Theam has converted his home into an impressive tropical haven to house his creative visions. You shouldn't miss this!
  • I love everything in this house! I enjoyed our last day in Siem Reap at Theam's House. It summarized the kingdom of Cambodia. He gathered all of his collection of arts, religion, history, représentation, artistic, and lifestyle and more at his house. They also sell some items like silk, decoration, frames, religion figures and a lot more. It's like a one stop museum plus shopping. We also enjoyed their talking bird in Khmer. Had fun with him. Hope you also visit them, it's worth spending of time in Siem Reap.
  • Nice handicraft workshop. Visitors are welcome to see the handicraft making. If you like it you can buy direct from the workshop. They also sell handicraft at many stores and hotels in Siem Reap town.
  • Quiet place and safe for staying. I like it.
  • Splendid gallery! Very original and interesting ! We bought a beautiful lacquer sculpture of Buddha. It's also interesting to their artisans at their work
