  • Who crossed the footbridge over the Siem Reap River on the old market (the neon sign promises "Nightmarket"), hits on a pleasantly quiet market compared to the area around the pub Street. The atmosphere is pleasant in the evening (up to approx. 22.00). Sculptures of many offers from the usual tourist kitsch KRAMA - and pashmina scarves, t-shirts, bags, too much craft:, Oil painting (the artist works partly locally), jewelry, etc. - much "made in Cambodia". There are also massages and a restaurant... The dealers are less obtrusive than on the other Riverside and there are many more tasty things I face had not yet seen in the Centre. Note: Of course not forget, to act! 30-50% are often in it - depending on the starting price -, sometimes even more. The best deals come in walking away... Otherwise it will be more expensive :-) (...aber for German is still cheap) After the purchase, it can be on this later (nörlich behind the hard rock Café) also quieter and less expensive food than round to the pub Street... (my tip: the Rohatt café or restaurant right on the river).
