Prasat Kravan, Siem Reap

(3.9/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Visit Prasat Kravan, which consists of five towers in a row, and admire the impressive bas-reliefs. Inspect the detail of the incredible brick carvings, as well as sculptures representing Vishnu and Laksmi. In the central tower, you can see more images of Vishnu, while looking for niches containing depictions of guardians. Next, visit the south and north towers, both of which are dedicated to Laksmi. As the French reconstructed the temple, they used bricks marked "CA," the sign of the Angkor Conservancy; keep an eye out for the mark as you wander the complex. Put Prasat Kravan into our Siem Reap family vacation planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Siem Reap.

  • After the ticket office this was the first Temple we reached and we were there alone - made a nice change to the rest of the day! Very small with some interesting carvings.

  • It's not very spectacular but cute temple. Maybe you should visit this temple for a short break only and visit the firstly Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat or Angkor Tohm.
  • Small temple but really worth a visit for it good shape and pink brick.
  • A good Angkor temple ruin to start the trip. Clean and well kept surroundings make for a pleasant experience.
  • Kravan Temple is one of the place you should visit, as it still look new.
  • Walk to look at it around then go inside and out both closed and far standing. Please imagine that you are here that time this temple were building it's very romantic and amazing.
