Cambodian Cultural Village, Siem Reap

2.0
Cambodian Cultural Village recreates the traditions and lifestyles of the nation's many ethnic minorities through live performances, museums, food, and life-size replicas of villages and traditional houses. The guided tour begins with the wax museum, which displays lifelike sculptures of famous people and moments in Cambodian history. In the village, admire the various styles of houses of different tribes, including Khmer, Kreung, Cham, and others. A stroll around the miniature collection of famous buildings and sculptures compensates for those who don’t have time to see everything in real life, while the famous Apsara dance performances provide a dynamic highlight of the village. • we went here as we had a day spare in siem reap it was okay but nit worth the entry fee no one told us you should go in the afternoon as thats when the live shows are. we went at 10.30 and had seen ev...  more »
  • Cambodian Cultural Village (cultural village) was contrary to expectation than thought. Was the strange exhibit is the first surprise, on the right side. It was a variety of exhibits such as incontrovertible feels a little stale. Dolls are displayed at most things like after quite some time, and I was surprised. Did not enter the electric carts are also provided in the village. Show mimics the Cambodian wedding ceremony on the stage just in time out. If you haven't seen it 15 admission $ feel higher. The location if you go once, not again.

  • We had a few hours to spare and tuc tuc our driver took us to this place. A nightmare! Expensive, $15. But mostly it's a horrendous funfair, maybe suitable premises or Asian looking for little emotions. Vast place, make several small shows of fake fake weddings, dances, etc. All scruffy and decadence. Avoid it!

  • If you are simply looking for entertainment, this is not the place to go. If you are looking for a "small" glimpse into Khmer history, this will satisfy your taste. You have a wax exhibit next to a traditional museum type exhibit. We came during the late evening so we missed much of the outside monuments and miniature palaces strung along the path. We caught the last show of the night. Again, this was geared towards learning, not necessarily entertainment, but we felt it to be quite enjoyable. Good for children who don't and adults to watch.
  • Very nice entertainment place for all age group. It explored all about Cambodian cultural. An Android device provided at the entrance with headset it helps to know about each places history story behind etc.., identified by the number mentioned in the map guide. Also have lot of drama shows in different theaters inside the village. Lot of miniature and fun places Parks neat and clean. Worth to visit with family.
  • Not worth the entry fee and in fact I wouldn't go if it was free! Nothing to do other than watch a few dodgy shows and the rest of the village was run down with creepy theme park statues and decorations. The best thing about this place was the little coffee stand near the entrance which had ironically the best coffee in Siem Reap.
  • Good to know the culture of people we visit. Best designed cultural village with interesting performance. No Halal food restaurant.
  • A glimpse of Cambodian culture! It is like any of the touristy place, but well maintained place. Though the entry fee is expensive, for the first timers it is certainly an experience, walking around the visuals and architecture of Cambodia and lot more. I personally like the cultural dance show and lying Buddha.
