Cambodian Cultural Village, Siem Reap

2.0
Cambodian Cultural Village recreates the traditions and lifestyles of the nation's many ethnic minorities through live performances, museums, food, and life-size replicas of villages and traditional houses. The guided tour begins with the wax museum, which displays lifelike sculptures of famous people and moments in Cambodian history. In the village, admire the various styles of houses of different tribes, including Khmer, Kreung, Cham, and others. A stroll around the miniature collection of famous buildings and sculptures compensates for those who don’t have time to see everything in real life, while the famous Apsara dance performances provide a dynamic highlight of the village. • Second time in Cambodia and visited the cultural village at NetA and say, go out. Rented audio guides of Japan, went into the early hours was no show, closed restaurants, was only around the exhibition hall. Japan Japanese languages installed in the inlet guide. That apparently built by Chinese institutions. Could convince Japan to no. I thought that the facilities for the Chinese.

  • Everything from weddings in a building to cikrkuskonster on stage-to songs and music-to the huts from different tribes in Cambodia. Residents at the huts went in their bykläder or tradi. There was also a miniature park, where the most famous works in Cambodia were in miniature. Also various animals fanni in fenced in the Park, and a lake with boats. and more.

  • This place is nothing more than a kind of papier-mâché with some amusement theme park, I think that is only interested in that can have if traveling with children or you have much time in Siem Reip, out of there little interest, although it's all very careful.

  • Performances after performances. I recommend only going on Friday or Saturday (Please double check on this) since they only have this huge parade performance on these night. Otherwise all you see is the same dancing crew doing all the performance at different locations.
  • First stop at this village was the museum. Back then history, later for the wedding ceremony in the back to back human traffic. I really couldn't focus on the ceremony. So hot and stuffy. Thereafter the acrobatic show at the open area. Okay, promising start but then I felt as though I was watching the same stunts over and over again.
  • Entrance fee is 15$ per person. Good place to study culture of Khmer ethic. There are 14 places to visit and 8 culture shows. Basically performance and shows are start at about 11am and finished at 8pm , you have to plan to visit for the best time is 11am to 8pm.We also enjoyed awesome bottle feeding of fishes by buying one bottle per one dollar. Khmer traditional wedding ceremony performance also give us remarkable extraordinary experiences.
  • Has some really good dance performances..Only go if you are looking to pass time in Siem Reap doing something else. The fried rice at the restaurant was mind blowing !
  • Good place to go if you have lots of time to kill. USD15 is worth whole day trip there.
