Bousra Waterfall, Sen Monorom
(3.6/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web)
Considered one of the most impressive waterfalls in the country, Bousra Waterfall consists of two tiers plummeting 25 m (82 ft) at their peak, and stretching as wide as 20 m (65 ft). Situated in the heart of the region's dense forest and famous throughout the country, the falls can now be reached via a 35 km paved road. Once there, you can take a relaxing dip in the cool waters, surrounded by the white noise of the cascading water. Look out for the many street vendors around the falls selling their handicrafts, and consider taking a picnic to enjoy in the picturesque setting. Wear sturdy footwear down to the falls, as the uneven ground can cause difficulty when walking. • Of many famous and beautiful waterfall in Cambodia, Bou Sra Waterfall is one of the best and a destination of foreign tourists who are interested in enjoying such place. Located in Mondulkiri Province, this resort can make people who are visiting there relaxed and fresh. Even if the sun light sometimes is kind of blazing, that can complement the cold water falling from the mountain as if it is provided by the sky. Anyway, this is of course a recommended place for foreign visitors who have that preference.
  • Nice 2 level waterfall that you can be on the top of both levels. I just couldn't find a way to get to the bottom of the lower waterfall. This is a shame as it is the higher of the two.
  • Nice relaxing place to visit, can rent a hut right next to the waterfall to eat lunch..well worth a visit, entry fee for foreigners $2.50
  • Bou Sra waterfall is one of the first choices tourists visit when touring the beautiful province of Mondulkiri. The waterfall has three difference levels in the same stream. The first level of waterfall is the most popular place to enjoy bathing and swimming. The diameter measures 10-20 meters depending on the season and about 8-15 meters in height. If you are stroll down 200 meters, you will find the second level measuring 13-20 meters in diameter, and around 15-25 meters high. The third level is hundreds of meters more nestled in the jungle and becomes very inaccessible. The waterfall is located on the eastern side of the provincial town about 15 minutes drive from Pichreada district, and about 38 km from Sen Modorom town of Mondulkiri province. The road is now paved and smooth with an entrance fee charge is 1.25@ foreigner (10000 Cambodian Riel) and 1-2$ per car to access the road.
