  • Have a walk around this area after watching Apsara Traditional Dance at the National Museum. Good to have a walk and sightseeing here at night. There also several stalls selling food along the avenue.  more »

  • Pros: Free, cool statue Cons: There are so many statues and monuments around Phnom Penh that it doesn't really seem worth going out of the way for. Not bad to visit if you have time though.
  • Located in the east side of Independent Park, this statue was built in 2013 on the purpose to honour his majesty, King Norodom. The statue is a good landmark for taking photo especially during the sunrise and sunset.
  • This is a huge bronze statue of the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk that was inaugurated in 2013. This is 4.5-meter-tall statue and is within a park east of Independence Monument. The statue cost about $1.2 million and took eight months to complete.
  • Cool park but come at late afternoon or night.
  • The statue of the The famous late king Norodom Sihanouk! He fought for the Independance from France in 1953.
