  • The Kandal Market was just down the street from our hotel, The Ohana Palace. We loved taking photos of the vendors loading up their stalls just before sunrise every morning. They brought in every type...  more »
  • I went twice because it was walking distance from the hotel. First I went in the morning. Market itself is a common market like that anywhere in Southeast Asia. Waiting for takeout and eat in there, buried in seats but 1 place where I ate breakfast, but also the flavor of the soup is enjoyed. Moving quickly, however, when the second went to the dark time, but the restaurant was still preparing. 7:00 shell is like a business. This is the perfect place to meet the locals living in Phnom Penh.

  • If fresh are good morning, inside there is nothing to do; very dirty everywhere, and right now with the monsoon which starts, it's slippery and muddy; delivery bikes seep into the crowd with the hot exhaust, attention bare legs! prefer another market... and I know, even in Africa, less alarming health issue!

  • As local a market as you can get. Caters for Cambodian people and food etc prices are lower as it does not pretend to be for tourists. Way worth a visit but watch for Moto's in the cramped walk ways as They have right of way.
  • Good food, street food also. A little bit dirty but it is ok. You will know more about the culture over here.
  • Similar to old market, it is one of the oldest market since 1960s. This market is quite important to local people for selling basic needs items such as food, clothes, jewels, and grocery. However, the traffic around the market is normally congested. The market open everyday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Beautifull
  • The market is very old. Simply the worse when passing by as the road is small and always packed.
