Friends 'n' Stuff, Phnom Penh

4.4
Shop at Friends 'n' Stuff and support a generous organization that helps local children. See what the store has to offer, from handmade jewelry, to clothes, toys, and souvenirs. All profits go to the children of the town, giving them an education and a chance for a better life. Don't miss the restaurant that works on the same principle, staffed by former homeless people. • The food and service here is great. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are so friendly, always serving us with a smile. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice during our three days in the city! The experience at the restaurant is nice as you know your money is going towards a good cause. Be sure to check out their shop next door for some sustainable goods!
  • Great food and great atmosphere. A little more quiet than we expected but you should still make a booking. Staff are very friendly and even though we had a mistake in our order, they worked to have it fixed. Dishes are good to share but order lots because portion sizes varied. It's worth it. We loved the chicken curry and you definitely should try it!
  • Some of the best food I've had in South East Asia. My mini falafel burger was to die for and my boyfriend felt the same way about his butter chicken burger. A little pricey, but for a good cause and so worth it. We also got hummus and chips to fill up but I don't know if was necessary. The waiter was very kind, helpful and attentive and the food came out quickly.
  • Delicious food and great atmosphere. The waiters are really attentive and the food was on the table pretty rapidly, considering that the restaurant was full. Would recommend this vegetable tangine and the coconut noodle soup, but you might want to order it less spicy. I had the soup medium spicy and although I’m pretty fond of hot food it was almost too much. The chocolate cheesecake is to die for! Remember to book a table!
  • Their couscous, eggplant, chickpea curry was delicious. Perfectly spiced. Steaming hot. Nice ambience. Polite staff. A little pricey, but worthwhile.
