  • My wife and I have just been on the island for 5 days. We stayed at the Rajabori Village, but read further information on separate review. The island is beautiful, peaceful, and residents seem to rest in itself. The Islanders produce everything they need. Rice, vegetables, all sorts of fruits, coconut as well as breeder chickens and cattle. In the floating village live fishermen and exchanged goods among the Islanders. A large part of the island's goods are produced and sold for the benefit of the community at the market in Kratie. It can be recommended to walk or cycle around the island. There is a really nice way. On the West side is a very nice cafe, which is owned by the sweetest and kindest family. Just to the Northwest of Rajabori Village, there is a big tree, which houses a large amount of fruit bats (flying foxes). Unfortunately it is not possible to get really close to. All in all, an environment that has to be experienced.
