Koh Rong downtown is the principle, backpackers Paradise Beach, a concentration of restaurants, bars and hotel all in one. To do: kayaking, the paddle, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and all the usual not to miss a swim at night to see the plankton! Possible excursion on long beach opposite the main beach through the jungle. Best beaches for swimming and farinente from 4 K. Excursion on small island is a treat. Great Wi-Fi, outdated menu and surly staff made it a little daunting at first but really nice once I felt I was fitting in.
The best unknown island so far but it will face a tough preservation challenge with the strong coming of incorporated tourism services.
