Kep National Park, Kep
Categories: National Parks, Nature & Parks
Get in touch with nature and examine exotic plants and wildlife at Kep National Park. Established in 1993, the park spreads across 50 sq km (19 sq mi) of hilly landscape, with some 8 km (5 mi) of walking trails within the small mountain range. On your hike, enjoy the view of Phu Quoc and the Bokor Ranges on the southern and western side, while to the east lie a marine reserve and its picturesque islands. Due to the lack of amenities along the way, bring your own food and drink, and ensure you make it back before dark. Before heading on your trek, fuel up at the onsite cafe with an affordable meal. A visit to Kep National Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Kep vacation route planner to plot your vacation.

There is a sort of deck built near the summit that is great for sunset watching. Make sure you bring a flash light in case you stay too long after the sunsets.

I liked this national park, although we visited in the dry season when it has less to offer. We saw monkeys and had a good hike. Some of the trails were extremely steep, so if you decide to take those trails, make sure you have good shoes. Probably good for 2-3 hrs.
This is a great place for holiday escape. The beach in kep and Koh tonsay is not far where everyone can enjoy the nature and swimming.
Most of the area is still protected by nature... Which mean getting the freshness of nature is here. On the hand, don't forget to check the fresh crab market, out of the water and cook right away. While buying make sure to asking the price, and weight properly to avoid confusion.
Great natural beach resort, good for seafood lover.
Visited by motorcycle, combined with some walking on the side routes. Visit the butterfly farm and the monkey trail resort. Ask the Australian host why the monkeys are on a chain. From there you can walk to an abandoned resort. Time well spent!
