National Park
Get in touch with nature and examine exotic plants and wildlife at Kep National Park. Established in 1993, the park spreads across 50 sq km (19 sq mi) of hilly landscape, with some 8 km (5 mi) of walking trails within the small mountain range. On your hike, enjoy the view of Phu Quoc and the Bokor Ranges on the southern and western side, while to the east lie a marine reserve and its picturesque islands. Due to the lack of amenities along the way, bring your own food and drink, and ensure you make it back before dark. Before heading on your trek, fuel up at the onsite cafe with an affordable meal. A visit to Kep National Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Kep vacation route planner to plot your vacation.

  • you will be sweatign before you enter the park but the wlak thorugh the area is well worth it. Go early to beat most of the heat and crowds.  more »
  • Located next to the hotel, the sailing club offers during the day to eat a snack or even at night for a drink or dinner, a wonderful view, feet in the water and food quality, with a good service.

  • The National Park costs $1 per person and has two entrances (West and East). Initially it runs unfortunately only on a road until it slowly approaches the hills. We have run also the trails long, who need more than just flip flops! Who has fear before creatures and the uncertain, should see off thereof ;) The sunset rock but then offers a great view over the coast. More than wander can you not however and we didn't see many animals. Tip: take with plenty of water and of KEP city nothing expect because that is super small, so you ungemerkt passes from :D

  • Worth doing it. One of the must of Kep. You can do it in scooter and make some stops in view points and when you want to trek in the forest. Take a good pair of shoes. You can do the butterfly farm at the end it is really nice.
  • Lots of trails and sign posts to follow...if you do the loop bare in mind the last 3km is on a sealed road back to the start with no shade. At 3.5km there is a cold drink stop 170m down at butterfly valley...gibbon retreat now closed but this is next door.
  • Beautiful view and good place to walk. You will see a lot of thing from beach town of kep, small mountain rangs, seaside and salty field. You feel like nature!
  • Nice walk & good views. Very well signposted by 2 volunteering associations. Otherwise it will be impossible to find paths created in lush green jungle.
  • Nice walks thanks to the Squirrel Association based at Led Zep cafe with excellent informative notices. The main path is wide and easy. The side paths are various degrees of Scramble so there is a good mixture for everyone. Really nice.
