Kep Beach, Kep
Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Walk along the clear shallow waters and white sands of Kep Beach, a small beach only 1 km (0.6 mi) long surrounded by green forest. Local fruit and seafood markets line the shore, and remain infamous in this area-- Kep is well known for its crab markets-- so don't miss the chance to try Kep's blue crab. After relaxing on the beach, head to the various monuments found in the local vicinity. Despite the popularity of the beach with locals-- especially at the weekends-- take care when swimming here as many do not recommend it due to the impurities in the water which can make you sick. Try to avoid national holidays due to heavy crowds. Rentable chairs, ATM machines, and shower/hygiene facilities can all be found nearby. Kep Beach is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Kep Edition.

Looks muddy no wave, the beach markets leave a lot of rubbish behind. Has sandy beach and no hawkers on the beach trying to sell you junk.
Très jolie plage, bien vivante. Très appréciée des locaux. Malheureusement, pas toujours très propre.Very nice beach, alive and well. Popular local. Unfortunately, not always very clean.show original
Would be nice if there was not rubbish covering the beach and the water was actually blue instead of brown!
