Worth a visit, there is a big restaurant at the top of the falls.
Popokvil means "waterfall in the clouds" in Khmer and if you are there on the right day, that is exactly what you will see. With the moist air rising off of the nearby Gulf of Thailand, Bokor Mountain is frequently shrouded in mist. I kept asking the locals about the falls and they kept telling me that they were not worth visiting in the dry season. Finally, just days before we left, we took a trip up the mountain shortly after the rainy season started and were blown away by the falls. No, they don't hold a candle to Niagara or Victoria falls, but by Cambodian standards, they were spectacular and I was kicking myself for not going sooner. If you are in the area, they are well worth seeing and exploring along with several other fascinating sites on top of Bokor.
I've only ever seen it in the dry season, and the area was still impressive, so I would imagine it would be really nice in the rainy season.
No water in the dry season, looks alright in the wet season.
