Phnom Bokor National Park, Kampot

Categories: National Parks, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.3/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web
Home to the dilapidated French hill station, Phnom Bokor National Park sits as one of only two ASEAN Heritage Parks in Cambodia. Sprawling mountainous jungle provides a safe habitat for a diverse range of wildlife, including a herd of wild Indian elephants, leopards, and snakes. The accessible section of the park is its hill station, scattered with relics of French colonialism from the 1920s, including an abandoned casino and church. Hire a local tour guide and head to the summit, exploring the misty grounds, leftover ruins, and spectacular views. • Skip the tour, grab a scooter and explore this beautiful park for a day. Amazing natural beauty and cool old buildings to explore. A lot of fun!
  • Interresting bike-tour- Wonderfull land scape. It`s a shame that they are allowed to build up such terrible hotels there...
