  • We visited this Wat as part of a tuk tuk tour. Our family (Mum, Dad and 3 kids aged 9, 7, 5) had a great time. We found it very interesting. It was so lovely and quiet so we were able to wander around...  more »

  • What should of been a pleasant relaxing stroll around the wat was spoiled by the police who've now set up shop there and are demanding an entrance fee. OK it's only a dollar but they got on my nerves ...  more »

  • I found this to be one of the more interesting temples I've seen in Cambodia. The old stone tower at the back of the new wat is filled with bats, which you can hear all around the area and the smell of guano is pretty strong inside. If you look closely, you may find carcasses of them in the stones. I watched a cat pull one out and one of the caretakers had taken out a shovel-full of guano and spread it out to dry in the sun as I was taking pictures. The paintings inside the new wat are beautiful and the entire ambience of the place is very relaxing and somewhat mysterious. The surrounding area is pretty clean and there is a nice lotus pond at the entrance.
