  • Not that much to see except some big stone walls in the middle of the Forrest, although a bit atmospheric and interesting history with a touch of mystery. Short visit is enough.  more »
  • Our visit here was a bit of a disappointment. As BF's only World Heritage Site I expected more. The site itself is a collection of ruined walls (11th century-ish) of a fortified settlement built in.....  more »
  • Les Ruines de Loropéni sont situées dans le sud-ouest du Burkina Faso, à environ 40 km à l'ouest de la ville de Gaoua. Le site était autrefois une ville fortifiée entourée par un haut mur de 6 mètres de pierre. Il y a eu beaucoup de travail archéologique qui ont été fait avant que l'histoire de la région ne soit bien connue.
