Garden Nature / Park
The silver fir planted by first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin in the alley of cosmonauts is on display at ''Primorski'' park. This largest, oldest, best-known public park in Bulgaria features an aquarium, casino, zoo and exotic zoo terrarium, dolphinarium, observatory, and planetarium. At the garden's modern central entrance, with its wide plaza and tall columns, try to tell time from a swan-shaped sundial. Next to the entrance, you'll find the house of the landscape architect, Anton Novák, who shaped the garden. Walk down the central alley to view the monuments of prominent Bulgarians. Other attractions here include a swimming pool, tennis court, open-air theater, and children's amusement park. Take a look at our Varna vacation builder to schedule your visit to ''Primorski'' park and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Beautiful space for walking, sitting and being leisurely. A lot to see and places to eat.
  • Great park. Could be better if they didnt build so much inside.
  • Beautiful park with a great number of different activities for kids ans adulte!
  • Once one of the best parks in Bulgaria, now it's a pitiful sight. Extremely poorly maintained by incompetent and greedy municipality of Varna. Actually the park has turned into trade area of the mafia - half of the park is its private property and the other part is ruled by the interests of their businesses. That's why here cars are allowed in the park and expect bars and restaurants of the mafia, nothing else is prospering. Hundred-years old trees are being cut and green areas are destroyed by incompetent and lazy stuff but municipality pays tens of thousands for palm trees in pots.
  • Good sightseeing, because is close to the see. I was there in the winter, so the view was a bit sad.
