At Sozopol Archeological Museum, see urns, artifacts, and art representing the culture and traditions of the town's inhabitants from the 6th millennium BCE to the 17th century CE. Walk through two sections of the museum, which divide the collection into the archeological part and the Christian art section. View anchors and bayonets of ancient civilizations, and browse through a variety of extravagant Greek vases and amphorae. Look for relics of John the Baptist, preserved in an alabaster casket. The site also has numerous scripts, maps, and photographs that describe historical information and the museum's workings. • Very interesting museum, with many archaeological artifacts, considering the rich bulgarian history. There are stuff from prehistoric, Thracian, roman, greek, first and second bulgarian kingdoms.
  • Have to visit. Great tourist attraction
