Slaveikov Square, Sofia
(3.9/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll around , a quaint pedestrian-only neighborhood lined with stalls that offer everything from vintage book editions to CDs. Here you can find literature in both Bulgarian and English languages, as well as English translations of Bulgarian classics. It is said that second-hand copies can be bought at bargain prices. Famous Bulgarian writers Petko and Pencho Slaveykov, a father and a son, lived in this neighborhood, and the street was named after them. You will see their statue, sitting on one of the benches. If you get thirsty from all the shopping, grab a drink at one of the cafes at the site. • At Slaveikov Square you can find the largest vintage book market in Sofia! There is also a library, a medical center and plenty of shops around. Newly built fountain look cute too.
  • The slaveikov square is a nice place in the Center where you can buy all books. Nice to walk.

  • The place to find books o. The street - new and old...
  • A place in the heart of the city that has kept its originality. Used and new books fair. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area.
  • The place to buy books in Sofia and have a snack.
  • City square meets book market meets McDonald's. A colorful and eclectic place where you may or may not get robbed by pickpockets.
  • It's a place that every bookworm must to see when he wants to buy a guidebook. That's very interesting in this area . Local library is around here on Slaveikov's square.
