  • This monument is considered the biggest in Bulgaria. Situated on a hill above the town of Shumen. Here you can either climb the stairs from the 1300 steps, or by car to the parking lot, then walk 500 meters. The monument consists of several groups of sculptures depicting the most great rulers of the State. There is also a mosaic-triptych. Upstairs is a huge Lion, of which the first you see, climbing up the stairs. The sculptures themselves some angular and not aesthetic. While its massiveness monument is undoubtedly impressive. Pay a visit, while the cashier is located by the parking lot, so those who go upstairs, perhaps for a ticket does not pay.

  • Great city centre history steps is possible but there are stairs on the 1000in I suggest you go by car. When you reach the city of Shumen where statues with a splendid view over the Hill all you see from the falls your way to visit.
