  • The main church of the city, a bit clogged with a low Tower, the Church is like a cellar built, you should with stairs leading down, beautiful icons and paintings, look on the stairs to the top! You can buy candles, souvenirs and small icons on entry.

  • The Church is located in the Centre of ruse. Curiously you enter into it by going down, the main hall is several meters under the ground, the ceiling of the same ranges just above ground level. First, one could assume this would be through the development of the environment, which may contribute something to this effect. Background is but mainly that the Ottomans had allowed no towering churches. Around the Church, you will find a small garden with a cloister. The Hall is in the architecture. In Orthodox churches as usual, the grinding is lush. Most of the content opens one, because the figures (also in Greek or in use, but used a similar alphabet such as Greek) are labeled. Many tourists come to this church. It makes good, if you are holding back and respectfully behaves both in dress and behavior. Another occurrence leads to alienation with the locals. What is special about this church is that it is relatively old. The Ottomans had converted many churches into mosques or destroyed. This is not. It is also just a place of peace and reflection in the otherwise bustling city centre or on a sightseeing trip.
