  • Bulgaria and its culture: this is free to admire is this museum. If you participate in the free tour with the guide this is one of the stop points. Beautiful on the outside as well.

  • This museum should be visited to get an approximate idea at least about the history of the city and its surroundings through the many relics which trace the past and so beyond what the guides write; a central part is dedicated to the characters and moments leading up to the independence of the country; the Museum is located in an old mansion, close to Hasan Kapja, and then in the ancient city.

  • If you want to learn anything about Natural History, DON'T go to the Regional Natuaral History Museum of Plovdiv. It is the most awful place I've ever seen. Aquariums are too small for the fish that can't even swim. Cages are, at least, half the size they should be for the animals to be comfortable. A ferret is kept in such a small prison, with no toys and almost no water, that it can't even move its back paws. This is a torture place for animals, not really suitable for a country that wants to be part of EU.
  • You have to get a guided tour for this place, a lot of things to learn
  • The place was deserted after the noisy and lengthy repair. From a really good Museum, is now an expensive thing. Don't make the mistake of visiting it.
