  • Like for real! Every house in this town is different and unique! You go back in history just by staying here. Go to the museum and you will have even more culture around you
  • We arrived in this Museum, the door was locked because an employee was working in the floors! A lovely young woman, to infectious laughter, eventually us open. We were the only visitors as in many small museums in Bulgaria. A rich merchant had had built this House where you'll find the small trades of the past and above all the massacres caused by the ottomans during the Bulgarian uprising of 1876. Very informative tour on a page of history little known in France, you can do in an hour. Taken ridiculously low 2.50 euros entry

  • This magnificent mansion of the Bulgarian national Renaissance is located in the heart of the old town of Plovdiv. Today has become a Museum, enabling payment, go inside the House. Three floors are the rooms that are occupied by furniture, traditional objects and photographs that make a journey through the history of the country. There is also a back yard that allows you to see the back of the showy mansion. The ceilings of the House are the most striking, as well as those soils of madero sounding to the step of the visitors.

  • If you want to learn anything about Natural History, DON'T go to the Regional Natuaral History Museum of Plovdiv. It is the most awful place I've ever seen. Aquariums are too small for the fish that can't even swim. Cages are, at least, half the size they should be for the animals to be comfortable. A ferret is kept in such a small prison, with no toys and almost no water, that it can't even move its back paws. This is a torture place for animals, not really suitable for a country that wants to be part of EU.
  • You have to get a guided tour for this place, a lot of things to learn
  • The place was deserted after the noisy and lengthy repair. From a really good Museum, is now an expensive thing. Don't make the mistake of visiting it.
