Art Gallery Philippopolis holds permanent exhibits of classical paintings of Bulgarian artists from the 19th century to today. Spread throughout six halls, the gallery constantly renews its collection and hosts numerous temporary exhibits. Walk through the lavish two-story neoclassical building and admire its decorated window frames and walls with renowned paintings.   • In this private collection are mostly paintings of the period of national revival. There are also modern painting. All this in a wonderful environment mansion dating from the mid-19th century. Very much it was pleasant to wander from room to room and admire not so much pictures, how many interiors.

  • Actually saw a BETTER collection in Hotel Anel in Sofia than in any Bulgarian museum. Facility is so-so
