  • It is essentially an exhibition of paintings by Bulgarian artists of the period mainly between 1800 and 1900 end end. But the show is not the main attraction. The best part is the big White House, with the interiors were at 1800, the carved wooden ceilings, polished floor, older furniture. Just start the climb up the Hill to the old town. The Interior is composed of two floors, entrance costs 5 lev 3 for students. The ride takes little time and in my opinion worth it!! If the House has also a nice restaurant style old times with a garden and views of the modern city (the view is not nothing). I can't tell what the food.

  • Reading the other reviews I feel a duty beginning with some details pointing to future tourists to Plovdiv what exactly it is: in a classic and well maintained home of Bulgarian Renaissance once belonged to the wealthy merchant Adji Alekos Danny, we're talking about an art gallery that collects many paintings from the period cited in the Bulgarian Renaissance and up to the present day of which are rich environments that can be visited; the notebooks of voyage remind me that there is a possibility to buy canvases to the prices shown. Friendly and prepared the girl who accompanied us in the rooms.
