  • Being so close to banana, it is highly advisable to make some route (Lakes from Vihren refuge or the Vihren peak). It is advisable to go warm because at that altitude, the weather can be highly variable. You can enjoy beautiful views

  • A day at the national park of Pirin and we that's even more amazed than ever. We brought on our back our little girl of 20 months on the back on a hiking path described as "easy" by the backpacker. We have of course shit but clearly worth the effort. Again, we would not hesitate a moment! Can be like hiking to climbing that's why we cannot encourage the more cautious parents to do, but it isn't impossible at all. If you are in the vicinity of Bansko, feel free to borrow one of the very many hiking trails.

Where to stay in Bansko

To make the most of Bansko's ski- and outdoor-oriented atmosphere and attractions, try staying at an upscale hotel featuring an on-site spa. While these upscale hotels can be pricey, they come well-equipped with indoor pools, restaurants, and a host of other features. For a more moderate price tag, book a mid-range guesthouse in the style of a classic alpine chalet to embrace the mountain spirit.
