Quite an interesting place. I didn't think Pernik had such a rich history. It is also linked to the mine museum, which I also recommend you visit.

Had a brilliant time here. It's educational and friendly. The tour underground is great, our guide got us involved and told us things about what it is like to work down there in old time. It is easy to find parking and the place is very family friendly. There were kids with us and the guide was very attentive with them. Very enjoyable for adults and young people alike. Definitely worth visiting by foreigners and Bulgarians. Bulgaria has many hidden gems like this, if you look for them.

Such a really interesting place! You visit real mining tunnels and can see the equipment used at the time. The guide explained many interesting facts from the mining process.

Great place, unless you are claustrophobic. You will get familiar with the history and development of coal mining.

Interesting, but little bit cold. Need to take coat with you when going inside. Would be nice if all illumination will be repaired.
