  • After the visit of the monastery, perhaps the most interesting is Visual this House, Winery. After crossing the entire village, you reach the winery. The House is well set, and shows the glorious past of the family. The winery and the set of passages was what I liked the most. After a glass of wine that was really good

  • Basic museum but gives you a nice glimpse into the rich past of this area and the wealth that was once held here. Wine tasting in the basement and old cellar.  more »
  • It was neat to see the house and see the wine cellar. I learned a lot about the family. I think it's stupid they charge people money to see the house. I wish there was some tour or some lesson on how ...  more »

  • Awesome house! Mixes several Balkan styles. Nice wine cellar and tunnels in the hillside. Even wine tasting! Fantastic icon from Bulgaria's national revival.
  • This is the 18th century mansion of a rich merchant of Melnik. Well worth a visit if you are passing through. There is a small entrance fee.
  • An amazing point of interest in the smallest city in Bulgaria. It has interesting history and wonderful architecture. Visiting this place is a must when in Melnik. At the end of the tour you are given the opportunity of free wine tasting from the place's wine cellar, which was built by the original owners in the past by digging into the rock on top of which the house was built.
  • Awesome place with authentic look
  • Great place, except that you don't buy the same quality wine that you tasted.
