  • Relatively new discovery. Big in size and well preserved. Could enjoy some more info reg the Thracian king supposedly berried there.
  • Not worthy neither the price nor the time you spend go br there. Depressing.
  • Starosel is known for the abundance of ancient Neolithic and Thracian sites, with some finds dating as far back as the 5th-6th millennium BC. Evidence from 20th-century excavations reveals that the village burgeoned into an important and wealthy Thracian city in the 5th century BC. Among its main features are the underground temple, the largest of its kind in the Balkan Peninsula, built under the Chetinyova Mogila and a mausoleum. The temple, as well as the nearby Thracian king's residence under Mount Kozi Gramadi, likely date to the reign of Amathokos II (359-351 BC)
  • WOW!!! It’s must to see!!! It’s a biggest revealed so far in this area.
  • Great place and discovery! It is unique and deserves to be better maintained and advertised. It’s a pity and a bit disappointing when you see how the entrance is wrapped. And kills a bit the value if what you actually see inside. The fee of 3 leva (BGN) is not much and i hope these money go really for making the place better and more attractive. Good luck, because the temple is a really rare find! Worth visiting for sure!
