  • As recommended, we went early, 10am when the park opens. There were plenty of parking spots so wi had no problem with that. And the dirty road was actually fine, we expected worse. The park fee is 6....  more »
  • Interesting place to visit. Those poor animals was taken from their gipsy owners and released here to live in peace the rest of their lives. It looks they are in good hands now. It look like zoo but....  more »
  • I couldn't get the idea behind the park. It's a rescue zone for dancing bears from around Bulgaria, but besides of the fact that the bears are taken care of, it seems strange to me that so much money was invested in rescuing ~20 animals (some are blind or very old). In this country where bears are hunted legally, it would make much more sense to put these few animals down and decrease the hunting permits accordingly - without building such a big fenced park inside the forest.
  • Great idea, loved the educational part of it! BUT - in 30+ degrees Celsius, they had no cold drinks, no coffee, no ice cream for the overheated kids!!! I believe the park could be managed much better Also desperately need some road improvement - you are seriously risking braking your car on the way there! Health and safety - while our group was being told interesting facts about the park and the bears, a man from the maintenance team just sped by car through the group, drove only centimetres away from a lady?!? Only the great views and the idea of the park give me a reason for such positive review. I am regretting my visit
  • Nice to see help for the dancing bears, although they've had such a tortured life it would probably be better to put them out of their misery as they look miserable. The visitors experience is very poor. Have to follow a 20 minute guided tour to see 4 or 5 sad bears. Really tough footpaths that are very steep and very little for refreshment so take your own. Road up to the park is a car breaker and no room to pass in the opposite direction. If you visit it once, there's absolutely no reason to return.
  • Very nice place to visit. It is one of a kind, and it was very educational to learn about those poor bears. We like it and strongly recommend it.
  • Amazing place. This is a shelter safe home for bears that have been butaly abused by men. There is a 24 bears that live there, very important message to children as well to adults.
