  • Its a cheap ski resort... Do not try to compare it to other European resorts like France/Italy/Austria  more »
  • Nothing to say, this resort is perfect for young people! Cheap (package ski rental at € 100, € 25 / j, possibility of finding apartments for 6 to 300 when a contact on-site), ski pretty sunny and not too crowded towards the end of February, but above all a crazy atmosphere on the slopes and in Bansko with an incredible number of bars and nightclubs! People are very friendly and the prices (food and drink) are very competitive! For very good skiers, beware there are very few black tracks (2 only and they are very small) and there is only 70km of slopes so the resort is small and it has quickly made the turn. Moreover, the village of Bansko is located at 940 m must be taken the eggs (called the Gondola) or a shuttle to finish the top of the slopes (1400-1600 m). The tail in her gondola can be very long in the morning for her gondola, I advise you to take a shuttle :). In short, a small low-cost station which is perfect for a trip with friends who want to enjoy their days of skiing and nightlife in Bansko!

  • +1 point for low prices everywhere on the resort, but negative for high on the slopes; +1 point for infrastructure; -1 score for a small area and poor variety of slopes; -1 score (even more) for the utilization of the slopes, the main cabin lift (it had to wait for an hour) and cafes/restaurants on the slopes (during lunch to sit was nowhere to completely, and those who sat-sat close to each other)-and it's all about on weekdays (weekends not rolled!). Too many young people and noise at night, but someone (like me) it's a minus and a plus for someone, so my assessment is not affected. For me personally the resort turned out to be more for parties, not for driving, so for me personally is absolutely not suitable I resort to me incomparably better in a cheap and tax-free Andorra, and of course Italy, Austria etc.

  • Strange site - does not work normaly
  • Last time we were in Bansko, Marin and his staff took our young children for ski lessons. Our boy and girl had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the lessons - they can't wait for the new season!
  • A good place. Easy access to ski lifts.
