  • When it comes to Brunei Darussalam, this is the first image that comes to our mind. It pays to go to the Centre of the capital of the country and take a picture with the mosque reflected in the mirror of water.

  • Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is an Islamic mosque located in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of the Sultanate of Brunei. The mosque is often considered as one of the most beautiful mosques in the Asia Pacific, it is a place of worship for the Muslim community, a major historical site and a famous tourist attraction of Brunei.
  • One of the many mosques in Brunei Darussalam that for sure will be giving a wow impression due to its classic and yet elegant structure.
  • Come here modestly dressed (covered clothes), for non Muslims try to avoid any holy months or major festive seasons as it's most likely not to be opened for non Muslims during such periods. The mosque itself is abit dated, the lake is abit murky but it's an iconic place for the locals and is a symbol of the Islamic faith in Brunei. If you're wondering, yes that dome is covered in PURE GOLD!
  • If Aladdin could live anywhere in the world, this would be it. The mosque is so beautiful. Unfortunately they were closed to non-Muslims during Ramadan, but I still enjoyed admiring the exterior.
  • What a spectacular Mosque! We specifically dropped by during night time as we're told it would be more beautiful compared to day time. Let the picture speaks for itself.
