  • The Museum gives the knowledge about life long life of Brunei Malays as in the forest, the work of the sea, iron, silver, copper to life in the countryside. from the Bus Terminal Bus No. 39, once lowered, you have to walk to the area in the vicinity of the museum reaches new 10menit, and when it will be back to the Bus Terminal, but recently at 5 pm, we are waiting for the bus so 30 min, no bus also passing so we had to walk to the Bus Terminal +/-1 h on hilly roads that don't have a pedestrian to pedestrians so that a little dangerous

  • Our guide brought us here and I'm glad for the experience. It is not technology, really, but rather the display of technology of the early people in the water villages. The dioramas and various exhibi...  more »

  • They have 3 halls. The first is bruneian home architectures and types, followed by the entrepreneurial in Brunei from past, and lastly is about different ethnics in Brunei. The most intrigued me is how they made sagu and sugar traditionally. Cons: They should maintain the surrounding of museum itself, although it's quite hidden from the main road and include more information as Malay nowadays are much more advanced or include the evolution of Malays in Brunei.
  • This is an informative museum that you can visit.
  • The museum exhibited the lifestyle, culture and technology of Malay people. A very informative and creative museum, i must say. There were some great displays at length where it made we engrossed in the reality of Malay people in the past.
  • If u happen to be around the city might give this place a visit. Would not need more than 40mins to see everything. Think a cultural museum would better describe this museum.
  • The museum itself is a bit run down (due to climate, but also due to little attention to it). The learning is great. suggest going here before the water village to learn a lot about this part of Brunei's "above water" culture. Also has a gallery on the different ethnic groups and elements of their subsistence pre- and post-sultanate.
