  • Can only take pictures from outside the fence. If you want to visit them, come to Brunei in the current Idul Fitri, you will have the opportunity to be shaken by the Sultan of Brunei. If you walk through the door of the Palace fence, you will see the beauty of the Brunei River disekitarannya

  • I do not know to the contrary, too. I stopped a little way from the hotel to the Gadong. I think it is worth going around taking photos in front. Was is called I'll have taken together in front of just anyone out? "no, it's come back soon" and said. Sorry but at the wrong time.

  • We took a boat to the monkey forest and past the house of the sultan. Very shinny :-) We also flow from the airport and great view from above. No entrance only 3 days after ramadan  more »

  • The Istana Nurul Iman is the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, and the seat of the Brunei government. The palace is located on a leafy, riverside sprawl of hills on the banks of the Brunei River, a few kilometres southwest of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei's capital city. The palace is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality. It is considered to be the world's largest private residence in terms of floor area, earning it the title of "world's largest residential palace". [SOURCE: Wikipedia]
  • This is His Majesty Sultan Hassan the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam official residence. It’s majestic and beautiful place. I had the honour to go there with my father and two boys and shake his majesty and his family hand at Second day of Shawwal of Eid Alfitr (they locally call it Hari Raya), where he opens his palace for all visitors to enjoy breakfast and have a chance to shake his hand and meet him in person. You will be also provided with nice surprise gifts.
  • Beautiful Palace. You will have a chance to meet the Sultan of Brunei while visiting at Sultanate open house after Hari Raya 'Idul Fitri.
  • Went there during open house of Hari Raya. Beautiful palace.
  • Grand and magnificient palace with beautiful nature surrounding it.When you in Brunei, this palace should be on your list.Highly recommended..
