Navigate the dramatic granite boulders strewn across the enigmatic beach at The Baths. Observe beautifully clear ocean waters, lapping at the time-eroded and rounded rocks. Walk across the soft golden sands, exploring the grottos and tunnels formed by these otherworldly stones, and swim in the calm ocean. You’ll have to take a short but scenic hike to reach the beach--look out for the strange skull-like rock on the way. Consider setting out early, as the beach can get very crowded when cruise parties attend. Take a look at our Virgin Gorda travel planning website to schedule your visit to The Baths and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Beautiful location, great easy hike, and nice facilities. If you want a shorter hike, chose the baths trail. It leads directly down to the baths. For a longer hike/adventure, pick devils bay trail. The woman working at the front will tell you to take the devils bay trail but it’s totally up to you!! There are lockers at the bottom of the trail to leave your belongings before the baths, but you’ll want to bring along a waterproof camera/phone case. Wear a swimsuit (it gets deep and there’s plenty of areas to swim) and either go barefoot or wear durable sandals/water shoes. It gets a little steep at certain points!

An absolute must to visit!! We anchored on a mooring ball and swam onto the island. Walking amongst these huge boulders is just magical. A hundred photo opportunities await! Try and get there early to avoid the crowds.

Best day trip. And this is from two folks pushing 70. NOT handicapped accessible but not a difficult walk either. I wanted to make it easy as it was not when I was younger....back then I jumped into a dinghy (easy) and was embarrassed by not being strong enough or skinny enough to just haul myself into a full dinghy. Now all is very user friendly - access from a parking lot. Get an all-day pass at the cruise ship dock in Roadtown by noon and you will be good to go.

A most beautiful place to visit, we walked through the tunnels formed from boulders believed to be formed from a nearby isla d eruption, and entered a wonderful sandy beach where snorkeling revealed gorgeous underwater life. Loved it!
-
absolutely stunning beach, white sands, crystal clear waters, and some caves I found to relax in during the afternoon heat. I was here with my family back in 2019 and still think about it to this day. hopefully I can return to this gem of a beach
